About me
Gordon Cameron is the general manager of the Canadian Media Protective Association and executive director of the Ontario Community Newspapers Association. He is an award-winning journalist, columnist and editor who has led the editorial efforts at several rural, suburban and urban community newspapers. He has also served as president of the Ontario Community Newspapers Association and the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors, and as secretary treasurer of the Canadian Community Newspapers Association. In his younger days, he was a contributor to The Watch at the University of King’s College in Halifax.
