About me
Joey is a journalist in Hamilton Ontario who operates Canada's first crowdfunded local journalism site. He is a Action Canada Fellow ('23) with the Public Policy Forum and a Southam Fellow ('20) at Massey College in the University of Toronto. Prior to launching his own news operation, he worked on contract with the Globe and Mail, and prior to this, Maclean's, covering higher education.
